Although Japanese restaurants are fairly ordinary in the United States, there are very few ninja-themed Japanese restaurants. Ninja New York guarantees both Japanese cuisine and immersion in the world of vampires. Also, what’s best is that the team dresses up as ninjas and plays fetch and cook food. However, I feel like the novelty wore off too quickly. Still, with numerous rather crappy motif restaurants in New York places to fleece tourists, this is certainly among the best in the region, and you’d be wise to choose Ninja New York over most of its competition.
Casa Bonita in Denver, CO
While there are Mexican restaurants in every city in the United States, there isn’t a restaurant where Casa Bonita doesn’t try to create a wonderful ambiance behind Mexican cuisine. It makes Denver the only place in the country where you can have this type of experience. The menu is very reasonably priced, and the dining room seats a million people.
Dinner in the Sky in Las Vegas, NV
I was on the fence about whether or not to include this restaurant on the list, since it’s not technically a restaurant, but rather a catering service, but it’s often included on lists of “quirky restaurants,” so I gave in. The service started in Belgium, but has made its way to the United States, with Las Vegas. The upside is always the magnificent views, but the downside is finding a group of people who aren’t afraid of heights.
Jekyll and Hyde Club in New York City, NY
Located in New York City, the Jekyll and Hyde club has a nuance of English Victorian horror. The crew dresses up like gothic horror characters and animatronics animals screech and howl at night. It’s practically like dining in a classic-style haunted house. This NYC restaurant is designed for family fun, so don’t worry about it being too violent for the kids. The decor is rather ironic, rather than claiming to be attractive. The menu is quite extensive for a themed restaurant and probably offers the widest selection of any restaurant on this list. There are also many souvenirs available for purchase.
