Three Good Reasons to Listen to R&B Music

Keven “Dino” Conner, born Nov. 18, 1974 laid to rest Jan. 28, 2003. He was only 29 years old, he was living and breathing in our world, and now he’s returned to Earth. He was a sensational R&B artist but a better entertainer of his generation that influenced many fans to listen to R&B music and gave rise to a new generation of R&B artists of African descent. We learn from his life that music can touch a person’s soul and communicate a message better than any PSA can, which is why you should start listening to R&B.
Here are several good reasons to start:
R&B Has Many Bright Talents
R&B became one of the biggest competing genres against pop and rock back in the early 2000s, and with stars like Beyonce, Usher, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, and Chris Brown representing the African descent community, the industry soared higher and achieved global recognition to the point that many fans outside of African descent love the music genre.
The talents are always on point, and they don’t come off as generic or identical; they have their own unique and personal flair that they can contribute to the music genre and make it bigger than it already is. Trust me when I say you won’t find a unique selection of talents in any other music genre than R&B.
R&B Has a Deep and Rich Culture
R&B music is unlike any other genre because they derived from decades of culture and influence from the African descent community that has helped shape today’s music world. R&B offers a powerful and influential culture with countless new and upcoming talents at the forefront of the industry, proudly representing their culture and history.
The influential power is so great that even new artists of today who don’t have any R&B backgrounds are putting R&B musical elements into their work because they like its sound. Whether it be the funk, groove, or melancholy melodies, we can all count our blessings to be lucky enough to experience R&B music.
R&B Never Gets Old
Continuing from the point above, R&B will never get old because new artists are inspired by older generations of R&B singers like Beyonce, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Usher, Alicia Keys, and so on, as they carry on their passion and musical elements to introduce R&B to the younger generation of fans from all over the world. Both the classic or newer tastes of R&B will live on due to the industry talent’s efforts, and we can all appreciate their efforts in keeping R&B alive!
